1. What this policy covers

This policy describes the cookies and other trackers (browser local storage) that QUOTIA, publisher of Raygister, uses on the website raygister.com and on the platform app.raygister.com, what they are for, how long they last, and how you can accept or refuse them.

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) plays a similar role. The rules below apply to both.

2. Your choice

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customize the trackers that require your consent. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can browse without making a choice.

Your choice is stored for six (6) months in the rg_consent cookie, shared by the website and the platform. The banner is then shown to you again.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of the website and in the platform. Withdrawing your consent removes the trackers concerned from your browser.

3. Necessary trackers

These trackers are essential for the website and the platform to work, or serve a feature you have expressly requested (for example remembering your language). They do not require your consent.

The platform also keeps display preferences in your browser's local storage: light or dark theme, whether the assistant panel is open, the view of projects and lists, table columns, recent searches, drafts in progress. This data never leaves your device and only serves your comfort of use.

4. Audience measurement and service improvement

With your consent, Raygister uses PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to measure the use of the website and the platform, detect errors and understand the difficulties users encounter. In the platform, PostHog may record how sessions unfold (clicks, scrolling, pages viewed); input fields are masked and addresses containing an access link are redacted before anything is sent.

If you refuse, none of these trackers is placed, and your browser only sends PostHog technical error reports, to keep the service working properly. The usage statistics that the platform compiles itself, without any tracker, are described in the privacy policy.

The website and the platform also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure traffic and performance in aggregate, without cookies or persistent identifiers.

5. Third-party services

Some services place their own cookies on their own domain, under their own policies:

  • Stripe, on the checkout.stripe.com payment page, when a licence is purchased;
  • Google, on its own pages, if you choose to sign in with your Google account.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings ("Privacy" or "Cookies" section). Blocking the necessary trackers prevents you from signing in to the platform.

7. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, write to contact@raygister.com. The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy.
